Job Overview:

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator - Irving, TX

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management, and customer service. The role involves prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials orders while providing outstanding customer service.

Shift and Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 am - Finished
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Position Responsibilities:

• Check in and out truck drivers using Carrier Point logistics software
• Handle all transactions accurately, including legal documents
• Assign drivers to doors for loading and unloading
• Assign material handlers to load trucks
• Complete bill of ladings and obtain signatures
• Maintain office areas, including filing and cleaning
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and OSHA standards
• Implement new procedures to improve departmental efficiency

Total Rewards:

• Starting pay at $23.05 per hour

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
