NOW HIRING: SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR

WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS SUPPORT

Openwork is hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a warehouse operation in Houston, TX 77073. This position coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, works closely with drivers and warehouse personnel, maintains shipping documentation, and helps ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience and must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

POSITION AT A GLANCE

• Location: Houston, TX 77073
• Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience | Weekly Pay
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
• Overtime & Weekends: Occasional, based on business needs

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities
• Check in drivers and verify required paperwork
• Process inbound and outbound shipments
• Prepare and verify shipping documents
• Enter and process orders using a WMS or warehouse management system
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are pulled, loaded, and shipped correctly
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with trucking companies
• Verify inventory, quantities, and shipment information
• Update billing logs and shipment records
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
• Communicate with customers regarding orders and shipment status
• Help resolve order, inventory, paperwork, and shipping discrepancies
• Assist with additional warehouse and office duties as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 3+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
• Experience with shipping and receiving paperwork and documentation
• WMS or warehouse management system experience preferred
• Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• Dependable attendance and a team-oriented approach
