Job summary

Openwork is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate in Stafford, TX for a full-time temp-to-hire role. You will receive trucks, unload parts, move equipment, and enter data in ERP.

The ideal candidate has forklift, overhead crane, and documentation skills, can lift 35-50 lbs, and communicate effectively with customers and staff. Benefits include health-related perks and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of Shipping & Receiving experience.
• Forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane operation skills.
• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs regularly.
• Proficient with ERP systems and data entry.
• Great communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Receive trucks and unload parts and equipment.
• Move equipment for assembly staging.
• Proficiently use ERP to enter shipping and receiving data.
• Review documentation for received goods against purchase orders.
• Package equipment for shipping.
• Ensure shipping documentation is complete and included with customer orders.
• Compile inventory balances.
• Sort materials according to labeling system.
• Execute general shop maintenance: storage, shop and equipment clean up.
• Ensure forklifts are charged and fueled.
• Perform shipments and receipts of goods and outside services.
• Log, inspect count and verify product per procedures.
• Maintain accurate data entry and paperwork.
• Report all injuries or damages; uphold safety.
