Job summary

SIMCO Electronics in Minneapolis area seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to manage inbound/outbound shipments, maintain accurate records, and ensure safe, timely delivery. You will package items, update inventories, and coordinate with carriers.

Ideal candidates have experience in shipping/receiving, familiarity with UPS/FedEx, and clear English communication. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

Able to operate a computer, keyboard, and pointing device.
Knowledge of incoming and final inspection practices.
Knowledge of standard material handling and packaging practices.
Experience in shipping and receiving.
Familiar with UPS, FedEx, Airborne Express shipping equipment and online tracking systems.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Organize and separate equipment for will call, COD, and shipment.
Update the computer system with status of will call, COD, and shipped equipment.
Process documentation for accounting, purchasing, and customer service.
Package all equipment securely for transportation to customers/vendors.
Reject damaged goods and coordinate adjustments with shippers.
Assist in assembling and shipping outgoing merchandise.
Print daily shipment reports from FedEx and UPS systems.
Receive materials and distribute to appropriate areas.
Initiate non-conformance documentation for damaged materials.
