AST in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily operations. You will prepare items for shipment, perform quality checks, manage ERP inventory, and assist purchasing while maintaining accurate records.

The role reports to the shipping/receiving manager and requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or sitting for long periods, and occasional overtime to meet deadlines. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1 year shipping/receiving/purchasing experience.
• Familiar with MS Excel, Word and an MRP system.
• Experience in a make-to-order/manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Forklift/Scissor Lift/Crane certification or ability to obtain.
• Quality conscious with ability to meet productivity goals.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; sit/stand up to 8 hours; overtime when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare items for shipment; verify against packing slips.
• Perform final quality control check before shipping.
• Package and protect items; manage shipping paperwork.
• Maintain shipping information and regulations knowledge.
• Receive parts into ERP within 2 hours of receipt.
• Issue parts from inventory per ERP Pick List.
• Organize job carts, storage bins, and shelves.
• Update ERP with new information and communicate changes.
• Assist supply chain with inventory and open purchase orders.
• Assist with problem-solving in purchasing and vendor pricing.
