Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, timely shipments, and a safe, organized space. You will participate in cycle counts, verify inbound/outbound goods, and operate equipment including a forklift after certification.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on FIFO rotation and efficient handling of shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related warehouse or logistics experience preferred (or equivalent education/experience).
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Basic math using standard units and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Audit and verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (including forklift/hi-lo after certification).
• Use barcode scanners and shipping systems (e.g., UPS) accurately.
• Load outbound shipments and verify products against shipping documentation.
• Unload incoming materials, verify quantities, and store in proper locations.
• Maintain organized and clean warehouse space.
• Ensure FIFO inventory rotation is followed.
• Stage, label, and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures (OSHA).
• Support general warehouse operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
