UFP Industries is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate the movement of materials, prepare shipment paperwork, and review incoming material documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role involves scheduling outbound loads, setting loading order, verifying shipping documents, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining compliant records under DOT regulations. You may assist with loading/unloading, generate reports, and perform related duties as required.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or related areas.
• Working knowledge of DOT concepts, regulations, practices and procedures.
• Forklift driver licensing completion is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and schedules all outbound loads with sales and production.
• Determines proper loading order and placement of product.
• Verifies shipping documents and records discrepancies.
• Sets up loads to be shipped via common carrier with outside freight companies.
• Coordinates routing and dispatches carriers with orders and delivery instructions.
• Ensures internal/external paperwork meets DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Documents shortages on orders and informs relevant teams.
• Takes calls for tracing and expediting orders.
• Maintains proper shipment records and may assist with loading/unloading.
• Prepares reports and correspondence as required.
