Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years relevant shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills; follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign drivers in and out of the facility, ensuring paperwork is verified.
• Assign dock doors to inbound and outbound loads, coordinating with yard teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and related documents; maintain accurate records.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Update inbound/outbound shipment schedules using warehouse systems.
• Coordinate yard movements and dock assignments to optimize flow.
• Provide responsive, high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Report errors or issues to leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance.
