Job summary

Pacific American Fish Company (PAFCO) is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our seafood distribution team in Los Angeles. You will handle inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with drivers, and maintain accurate documentation in a cold storage environment.

You will also generate shipping documents, update records, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and temperature controls. Strong organizational skills and experience with inventory software are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Shipping and Receiving Clerk or similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willingness to cover Monday and Sunday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming seafood shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare outbound shipments, including packing, labeling and staging.
• Coordinate with drivers and third-party carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Generate and verify shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing slips).
• Maintain accurate shipment records and daily shipping/receiving reports.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and temperature control in the workspace.
