Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to verify records for incoming and outgoing items. You will process inbound/outbound orders, coordinate with the Warehouse Lead, and generate paperwork for customer work orders, tracking statuses and updating inventory records.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and comfort working independently or in a team within a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED or equivalent.
Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
High level of attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

Check bills of lading for accuracy.
Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.
Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
Generate paperwork for customer work orders including status checks, expediting orders when necessary, tracking orders and posting inventory records.
Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
Organize mail slots with proper paperwork.
Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments.
Communicate between customer and warehouse operations concerning the customer account/inventory.
Update Dock Management System in a timely manner.
Execute safety procedures for storage and receipt of goods.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
