Description:

Unload and handle all types of components, parts, assemblies, materials, etc., delivered to the O/R Center. Aid in checking shipments, open shipping containers, and deliver items to the production line or re-preserve units and reseal containers for storage. Prepare components for shipment by spraying, dipping, or brushing with prescribed preservatives, taping, tubing, threading, etc. Apply grease or moisture-proof paper, and package components according to specified requirements. Assist in fabricating standard packing boxes, ensuring proper cushioning, item placement, and secure bolting. Load outgoing items onto freight cars, airplanes, trucks, etc., and operate electric or hand trucks as needed. Perform related duties such as repairing or modifying containers under supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (add and subtract whole numbers) to check shipping and receiving paperwork against processed items. 6 months or more of experience or equivalent SIK experience.

Desired Skills:
