Typically, you will pick product (optical frames, lenses and contact lenses), put them into boxes on a cart for shipping, and then replace inventory. A wrist scanner will let you know what to do and where to go next. You will work on several different teams as needed. Below is a sampling (but not comprehensive) of responsibilities on the different teams.

Receiving/put away will include:

  • Putting lenses in correct inventory locations and rotating stock

Order selection will include:

  • Picking orders for customers and branches
  • Informing managers, supervisors or coordinators of stock-outs

Shipping will include:

  • Verifying orders and correcting discrepancies
  • Boxing orders in correct containers or boxes with correct documentation and applying address labels

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be a good fit for the Warehouse Associate opportunity, you will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • The ability to:
  • Communicate effectively to managers and peer on a daily basis
  • Meet and exceed production goals
  • Correctly use RF devices (scanners) as needed; experience with scanners is a plus
  • Basic reading and mathematics ability
  • Maintain very high levels of accuracy in work assignments
  • Work cooperatively as a member of a team and participates in team meetings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Inventory and warehouse management system experience

Pay Range: 21.71 -27.76

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
