Job summary

Valence in Everett, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm). You will receive and unload incoming materials, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and log inventory as it moves through receiving and shipping.

On-the-job training is provided; no experience required. You must be reliable, follow safety rules, and handle inventory in a shop environment that can be hot.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year forklift experience preferred (sit-down).
• Ability to follow safety and quality standards.

Job Overview

Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday; 2pm- 10:30pm)

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
