Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Massachusetts is seeking a warehouse associate to unload incoming materials, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and ensure shipment accuracy. You will operate forklifts, dolly, and pallet jacks, log inventory, and assist other departments while maintaining safety standards.

• Process and document shipment accuracy; handle returns as needed.
• Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs; operate material handling equipment.

• Accuracy of shipment; process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft office products.
• Capability of lifting packages or equipment up to 50lbs.
• Help other departments.
