Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk (1st Shift) for premier distribution and manufacturing facilities in St. Charles County, MO.

You will verify incoming freight against purchase orders, process outbound orders, update inventory systems, and coordinate carrier pickups. If you have strong data-entry skills and warehouse software experience, this is a steady daytime role with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, logistics documentation, or inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer literacy for logging shipments and navigating warehouse management systems.
• Sharp attention to detail to ensure zero documentation errors on orders and packing slips.
• Forklift experience or certification is a strong plus (training/operating pallet jacks as required).

Responsibilities

• Inbound Receiving: Receive inbound shipments, inspect materials for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Outbound Processing: Prepare outbound orders, print shipping labels, package freight accurately, and schedule carrier pickups.
• Inventory Logging: Maintain accurate records by logging incoming and outgoing shipments in facility inventory systems or digital tracking databases.
• Vendor & Carrier Communication: Coordinate directly with drivers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Material Movement: Stage products in designated storage bays using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Flag damaged goods or shipping discrepancies immediately and report findings to management.
