Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Mattoon, IL is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for the first shift (7am-3:30pm). The role pays $19-$21/hr and is a full-time, long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 50 lbs, accurate filing, inventory checks, packing and labeling shipments, data-entry of orders, and coordinating deliveries with route drivers. Benefits are available through the firm for associates.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate filing of packing lists and order details.
• Experience with inventory basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical inventory and coordinates deliveries of received items.
• Pick and pack shipments and appropriately label shipments.
• Ship/confirm orders in data system and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate inter-company product transfers with route drivers.
