Job summary

Penske Logistics in Lebanon, TN is hiring for a warehouse associate on 1st shift. You will manage inbound/outbound flow, ensure timely departures, and maintain accuracy to meet KPI targets. The role requires customer service awareness and the ability to adapt in a high-volume environment.

Candidates should have strong reading skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task while supporting team goals and warehouse operations. Regular full-time work with benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of work to meet receiving and shipping KPI targets.

• Assist with daily/weekly operational reports and learning new skills.
• Collaborate with team to meet warehouse metrics and goals.

Work Schedule and Pay:

• $22.89
• 1st shift: Monday thru Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
• Must also be available to work Saturdays as needed.

Major Responsibilities:

• Control the flow of work within the facility to meet receiving and shipping departure times while maintaining accuracy and KPI commitments
• Requirement for customer service acumen as the position is customer facing
• Experience with daily scheduling of loads preferred
• Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment while being detail oriented
• Must be able to prioritize and adjust to immediate workload requirements
• Assist with daily/weekly operational reports
• Ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
• Work as a member of a team, accomplish team goals and meet warehouse metrics
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse inventory wire and cable is preferred
• Experience in Warehouse is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge in electrical components is a plus but not mandatory
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
