Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety-conscious team in Lebanon, TN. The role involves operating hand tools and power tools, assembling and packaging products, and scanning items using a warehouse management system.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse inventory wire and cable preferred.
• Good reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work overtime preferred.
• Flexible to work schedule and location as needed.
• Complete Penske employment application, background check and drug screening required.
• This position is safety sensitive and requires alertness for safety of self and others.

Responsabilidades

• Use of hand tools and power tools in the assembly area.
• Operate printing machines.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Identify damaged products and remove them when received.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with information.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and materials.
• Assemble containers and crates with hand tools and precut lumber.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to standards.
• Use computer to enter records and accurately match numbers and letters.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Work Schedule and Pay:

• $20.59

1B Shift: Monday thru Friday, 9:00am- 5:30pm

Must also be available to work Saturdays as needed.

Job Responsibilities:Use of small and large hand tools and power tools in the assembly area

Operate printing machines

Complies with all safety requirements

Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse inventory wire and cable is preferred
• Experience in Warehouse is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge in electrical components is a plus but not mandatory
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
