Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking warehouse associates in Lebanon, TN to join an excellent team focused on safety and efficiency. The role involves operating forklift, pallet jacks, and related equipment, packaging for shipping, and accurate scanning with our warehouse system.

We offer a competitive wage and benefits package including PTO, insurance, 401K, and a boot allowance after 90 days. Overtime and Saturdays may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Operate printing machines and assemble components
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Work Schedule

• Picker/Spider - Monday to Fridays 6:00AM to 2:30PM
• Packout/Spider - Monday to Fridays 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Must also be available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
