Job summary

HSM is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to load/unload trucks, verify items, and manage shipping documentation at our Hickory, NC area facilities. You will stage and label materials, coordinate with carriers, and maintain accurate inventory records in our systems.

Two or more years in inventory or material movement are a plus. Overtime may be required; candidates should be able to stand, walk, bend and move materials safely in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read shipping documents and product labels; basic math and computer skills; keep accurate records.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; adapt to changing shipping needs.
• Ability to obtain site forklift authorization; prior forklift experience is preferred.
