Job description

Join to apply for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk role at ABB Ventures.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is classified as Entry level, Full-time.

Your role and responsibilities

1. Follow all ABB safety policies, including wearing PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut-resistant gloves, and sleeves when required.
2. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
3. Work independently and communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coworkers, and external partners.
4. Operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists, ensuring proper maintenance and safety.
5. Obtain and maintain a forklift operator license.
6. Load trucks in compliance with federal regulations, calculating weights accurately.
7. Read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
8. Complete inspections, fill out manifests, and bills of lading accurately.
9. Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility for overtime, including weekends.
