This position reports to

Supply Chain Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Ability to understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training, and hazard communication information. This includes but is not limited to wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut-resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required.
Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, other plants, freight companies, tool room personnel, and coworkers.
Frequently grip with hands, turn, push, and bend, along with occasional reaching above shoulder level, and pulling.
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods and work in hot and cold environments.
Operate forklifts and other equipment such as electric chain hoists, Bigfoot, pallet jacks, etc., ensuring proper functioning prior to use.
Obtain forklift operator license.
Load trucks in compliance with federal regulations, calculating weights accurately.
Follow written and verbal instructions, read and write in English, use a computer, understand production orders and schedules, complete inspections, and fill out manifests and bills of lading.
Fill in for production forklift driver as needed.
Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and work overtime including weekends and short-notice overtime.

Qualifications for the role

• Flexible to work different shifts for overtime.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
