Reporting To

Supply Chain Manager

Role and Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all ABB safety policies, training, and hazard communication information, including wearing proper PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, cut-resistant gloves, and safety sleeves when required.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work independently when needed, communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coworkers, and external partners.
• Frequently grip, turn, push, bend, reach above shoulder level, and pull.
• Sit and/or stand for long periods in hot or cold environments.
• Operate forklifts and equipment such as electric chain hoists, pallet jacks, and controls with safety and precision.
• Inspect equipment before use and obtain forklift operator certification.
• Load trucks in compliance with federal regulations, calculating weights accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, read and write in English, use computers, and understand production orders and schedules.
• Fill in for forklift drivers as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility for overtime, including short-notice overtime.

Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator (renewed every 3 years).
• Ability to work different shifts and overtime.
• Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Legal work authorization in the US.
