Job summary

Tension Envelope Corporation is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Worker to process orders, ship products, unload materials, and maintain accurate shipping records. Training is provided; starting pay is $20.24 per hour with a planned increase after 12 months.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, ability to operate forklifts and related equipment, and coordination with carriers to ensure timely deliveries. Weekly pay and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication with customers or employees.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Able to read rulers and interpret measurements.
• Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check freight for damage and count freight to match bill of lading.
• Process shipments: count, package, weigh and label materials.
• Load trucks and prepare shipping documents.
• Coordinate pickups with outside carriers and maintain staging area.
• Operate forklifts, elevators and stretch wrappers as needed.
• Perform related duties and assist as required.
