Job summary

SMP/Eastlake is seeking a full-time, on-site Materials/Clerical Associate in Wickliffe, Ohio. The role involves receiving shipments, data entry into Solomon, filing purchase orders, and preparing requisitions while maintaining a safe, organized dock and storage area.

Qualified candidates should have clerical ability, the ability to operate material handling equipment with training, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Clerical tasks required including paperwork and filing.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment with training provided.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Flexibility to work shifts with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach preferred.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify counts on all incoming shipments. Prepare paperwork for distribution of materials throughout the plant.
• Enter all incoming deliveries into the Solomon system.
• Filing of all purchase orders and balances on purchase orders.
• Prepare requisitions for department.
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain housekeeping in docks and storage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned/requested by management.
