Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Material Handler for our Wickliffe, OH plant to receive, verify, and route shipments. You will enter deliveries into the Solomon system, file POs, prepare requisitions, and maintain dock and storage areas.

The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds, driving a tow motor, and strict adherence to safety rules. Flexibility in shift hours is required, with options for 7:00am–7:00pm Sat/Sun/Mon or 9:00am–5:00pm Sun–Thu.

Qualifications

• Clerical ability required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (Tow motor) with training provided; clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter a plus.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.

• Enter all in coming deliveries into the Solomon system.
• Filing of all purchase orders and balances on purchase orders.
• Responsible for filling out all requisitions for department.
• Bending, lifting of various weights involved.
• Surrounding includes various climate conditions from pleasant to extreme.
• Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas, and equipment use.
• Perform all other duties as assigned/requested by management.
• Follow all plant safety rules.

Qualifications

• Clerical ability required.
• Ability to operate several vehicles including material handling (training is provided, tow motor included.) Verifiable clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Must be able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter a plus.
