Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Material Handler for our Wickliffe, OH plant to receive, verify, and route shipments. You will enter deliveries into the Solomon system, file POs, prepare requisitions, and maintain dock and storage areas.

The role requires lifting up to 35 pounds, driving a tow motor, and strict adherence to safety rules. Flexibility in shift hours is required, with options for 7:00am–7:00pm Sat/Sun/Mon or 9:00am–5:00pm Sun–Thu.

Qualifications

• Clerical ability required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (Tow motor) with training provided; clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter a plus.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify counts on all incoming shipments and prepare distribution paperwork.
• Enter all incoming deliveries into the Solomon system.
• File all purchase orders and balances on purchase orders.
• Fill out all requisitions for the department.
• Maintain housekeeping of dock, storage areas, and equipment use.
• Follow all plant safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned/requested by management.
