Job summary

Mechanical Rubber Ohio in Strongsville, OH is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records for efficient operations.

Full-time hours from 6:00am to 2:00pm with benefits after 90 days and after one year. Strong attention to detail, computer literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required to ensure safe, timely deliveries and

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and comfortable using computers and standard business software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff, freight carriers, and suppliers.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and work in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
• Unload and organize incoming shipments
• Prepare customer orders and finished products for shipment
• Pick, pack, label, and stage materials and products
• Verify quantities and shipping documentation for accuracy
• Coordinate shipments and deliveries with freight carriers and shipping companies
• Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipping and receiving needs
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
• Enter and update shipping and receiving information using computer systems
• Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
• Safely operate material-handling equipment as trained
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as needed
