Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver to load, ship and stock finished goods that fulfill customer orders. You will pull orders with a handheld PDA, palletize products and prepare shipping documents as part of a team responsible for accurate fulfillment.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and DOT HazMat training to be certified on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat training required (will certify at hire).
• 0–3 months of warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, order picker and pallet jack.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders using a PDA and palletize product (70%).
• Generate bills of lading, reports and labels (15%).
• Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
• Receive and stock product and complete training (5%).
