Job summary

Whitmore/Jet-Lube is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Rockwall, TX. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, packing and loading orders, and maintaining accurate inventory using RF scanners.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and strong written and verbal communication skills. The role emphasizes productivity, accuracy, and a commitment to a clean, well-organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial vehicles safely.
• Pack, stage, and load outgoing orders onto trucks.
• Must be able to lift and pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching.
• Conduct cycle counts as requested.
• Maintain accurate inventory using RF scanning equipment.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team. The Shipping & Receiving Associate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of shipments and deliveries, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Pack, stage, and load outgoing orders and materials onto trucks and containers.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Conducts cycle counts as requested
• Must be able to use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift
• Must have very high-quality standards and degree of accuracy and organizational skills
