Qualifications

• 2+ years shipping/receiving experience in regulated environments such as biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of carrier systems, shipping documentation, packaging, and inventory transactions.
• Experience with international or temperature-controlled shipments preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material-handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately.
• Prepare shipping documents including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate parcel, freight, expedited, and temperature-controlled shipments.
• Follow cold-chain, hazardous-material, and DOT/IATA shipping requirements.
• Verify incoming materials against orders and inspect shipments for discrepancies.
• Complete inventory transactions and maintain shipping/receiving records in ERP.
• Communicate delays, documentation issues, and discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe shipping/receiving area.

Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Associate ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant shipment and receipt of materials for a biotech manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for preparing domestic and international shipments, maintaining shipping documentation, coordinating carriers, and protecting temperature-sensitive products throughout transit. This role is a key member of the Core Operations team here at EnviroLogix, a global leader in the production of diagnostic testing for the agriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders accurately.
• Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate parcel, freight, expedited, and temperature-controlled shipments.
• Follow cold-chain, hazardous-material, and applicable DOT/IATA shipping requirements.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the ERP system.
• Communicate shipment delays, documentation issues, and material discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and inspection-ready shipping and receiving area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, medical-device, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of carrier systems, shipping documentation, packaging, and inventory transactions.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $20.00 - $24.00/hour. Compensation is determined in good faith based on several factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, requirements of the position, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
