Shipping/Receiving Associate

Ready for your next opportunity? Regal Rexnord Marengo is currently hiring a Shipping/Receiving Associate for our 1st shift. Pay Range: $18 - $21 per hour.

Mandatory duties include:

• Verify outbound shipments and inbound receipts with documentation provided.
• Deliver materials to designated locations, including incoming PO’s, courier packages, and RMA’s.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, manual lifts, dollies, and skids, comparing identifying information such as counts, weights, or measurements to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Examine incoming shipments for damage, record shortages, and route items to departments; record deliveries into the computer system from packing lists.
• Process materials to stock after inspection.
• Maintain stock of materials used for packaging and shipping; order materials as necessary.
• Process requisitions, jobs, and miscellaneous transactions in the computer system; communicate stock discrepancies to proper teams.
• Pack, wrap, weight, and label production and stock materials for shipment; document required information and deliver to dock area.
• Perform basic carpentry skills needed to build and crate screws and shafting.
• Communicate essential information to the supervisor as required.
• Adhere to all division health and safety regulations including 5S responsibilities.
• May need to run to supplier or Post Office using company vehicles.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Strong math calculation skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred; forklift operation is not required.
