Job summary

Afinitas, a manufacturing and distribution leader, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Texas operations. You will receive, verify, and package products for shipping, stage and move inventory, load trucks, and maintain orderly, safe work areas.

This role requires strong organizational skills, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs and OSHA standards. Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to logistics support are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and package products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage product for loading/pick up and move materials to the warehouse.
• Load product onto truck/container and unload materials after delivery.
• Deliver local customer orders using company truck and trailer.
• Move waste to dumpsters and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Consolidate inventory into kits for resale and ensure order accuracy.
• Follow SOPs and OSHA safety standards; operate forklift (sit down).
• Adhere to all processes and participate in continuous improvement as needed.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, verify, and package products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Stage product for loading/pick up
• Load product onto truck/container
• Unload materials from truck/container
• Move materials to the warehouse for storage
• Deliver local customer orders using company truck and trailer
• Move waste to dumpsters
• Responsible for order accuracy and quality control
• Consolidate inventory into “kits” for resale
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Operate forklift (sit down)
• Adhere to all Processes
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an office type position associated with a manufacturing facility. The employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required when on-site at a customer’s plant.
