Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Material Handler in the United States (Kentucky) to receive inbound materials, verify quality, and maintain accurate documentation. The role requires operating the RF system, ensuring parts are undamaged, and performing daily 6S housekeeping in a factory setting.

Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for receiving all incoming material in a timely, efficient manner and ensuring the product coincides with all applicable shipping documents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Correctly receive and track parts using the RF system.
• Ensure parts have not incurred any shipping damage and are quality compliant.
• Completing proper material handling documentation (i.e. skid tags).
• Perform on-the-job training as needed.
• Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
• Demonstrate a commitment to working in a safety culture by working safely and correcting unsafe be conditions within assigned work area.
• Work assigned overtime when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to verify quality of a product

• Basic PC skills with good working knowledge of WM.
