Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Warehouse Associate to process parcels, load/unload materials, and fulfill orders from pick lists to support production targets.

The role requires basic computer skills and SAP experience is a plus; forklift certification is preferred. You will monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and schedule work to meet customer and production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some PC skills required. SAP exp. preferred.
• Forklift and Hand Truck certified.
• Read a tape measure and comprehend job training and safety instructions.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Process small parcels, computer experience needed. SAP experience a plus!
• 9am-5:30pm M-F OT as needed.
• Monitor inventory and accuracy through cycle counts.
• Fill orders from pick lists or Bill of Lading, including broken lot orders.
• Unload inbound materials as needed to meet production requirements.
• Load orders for customers to meet freight requirements.
• Schedule their own and others’ work to meet customer and production requirements.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills:Some PC skills required. SAP exp. preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses:Forklift and Hand Truck certified.
