Job summary

MiTek Industries in New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to process small parcels, manage inventory and fill orders from pick lists and bills of lading. You will handle loading and unloading to meet production demands and ensure accuracy through cycle counts.

Role requires basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus, and forklift and hand truck certifications are preferred. OT may be required and punctual attendance is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Some PC skills required. SAP exp. preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: Forklift and Hand Truck certified.
• Other Skills and Abilities: Read a tape measure. Comprehend job training and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process small parcels and monitor inventory through cycle counts.
• Fill orders from pick lists or Bill of Lading, including broken lot orders.
• Unload inbound materials to meet production requirements.
• Load orders for customers to meet freight requirements.
• Schedule own and others’ work to meet customer and production requirements.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process small parcels, computer experience needed. SAP experience a plus! 9am-5:30pm M-F OT as needed. Monitor inventory and accuracy through cycle counts. Fill orders from pick lists or Bill of Lading, including broken lot orders. Unload inbound materials as needed to meet production requirements. Load orders for customers to meet freight requirements. Schedule their own and others’ work to meet customer and production requirements. Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.
