Job summary

Worthington Steel is hiring for Shipping & Receiving – Afternoon Shift. You will load and unload trucks, pick, stage, and pack customer orders, and build outbound loads to meet delivery schedules. You’ll receive incoming materials, store them properly, and maintain inventory accuracy in a safety‑driven manufacturing setting.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential. Benefits start Day 1, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k); overtime at 1.5x; paid training; boot

• Forklift/crane certification or ability to obtain.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting at $20.00/hour , with higher pay for manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or equipment experience

Schedule

• Paid first-shift training (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) for approximately 90 days
• Transition to 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• 8-hour shifts with a paid lunch

What You Need to Succeed

Preferred Background

• Shipping & receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Forklift or overhead crane operation
• Experience with inventory or ERP systems
• Reliable transportation (there is no public transportation or pedestrian access)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
