Job summary

Worthington Steel in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Material Handler. Earn $18.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential for 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and you’ll receive paid training and Day 1 benefits.

You’ll operate forklifts and overhead cranes, move steel, prepare orders, and stage materials while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, active work with a strong safety focus.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read production orders and use basic measuring tools.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift or material handling experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel.
• Supply production lines and move finished products.
• Load, unload, package and prepare customer orders.
• Stage and track materials.

• Operating forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel
• Supplying production lines and moving finished products
• Loading, unloading, packaging, and preparing customer orders
• Staging and tracking materials
• Supporting production and machine operations
• Following safety and quality standards
• Working with your team to keep production moving
