Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Junction City, OR is seeking a Shipping/Receiving team member to support timely flow of materials. You will perform receiving, shipping, inventory, and documentation in a safe, organized warehouse environment.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to read shipping docs, attention to detail, and teamwork. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents.
  • Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments, including bills of lading and other required shipping documentation.
  • Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, inventory discrepancies, or other receiving/shipping issues.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification preferred.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, replenish stock, and properly store materials.
  • Use ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems to process and track materials and shipments.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight providers, purchasing, production, and customer service to support timely material flow.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse; must be flexible for overtime or occasional weekend work as business needs require.

Job Overview:

The Shipping/Receiving team member is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely flow of materials into and out of the facility.
