Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Buffalo is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform warehouse duties including sorting, loading, receiving, packing, shipping orders, and inspecting items. You will help maintain accurate stock records in SAP and move materials to the assembly floor.

This full-time, hourly role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least 2 years in manufacturing or distribution, and forklift experience. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with starting pay at $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • GED or High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Safety + QDIP daily, identify and report safety concerns as observed.
  • Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock.
  • Maintains accurate transactions and shipments in SAP on all inventory and stock. Complete cycle counts and participate in year-end physical inventory activities.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (i.e. forklift, reach truck, order picker)
  • Organize and keep clean the warehouse space.
  • Load trucks and trailers with outbound shipments.
  • Supports team lead with any issues related to quality or customer support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

The warehouse associate position requires you to perform various warehouse duties, such as sorting, loading, inputting, unloading, building wooden crates, and receiving materials. This position is also responsible for processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately, inspecting items for defects and reporting them, and picking and transporting production parts to the assembly floor.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • GED or High school diploma required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience

  • Must possess ability to work well in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment

  • Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts and overhead cranes)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (SAP)

Starting Pay will be $23.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
