Job description

L&E is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Shipping Packer.

The Shipping Packer will support all aspects of material handling, including picking parts, shipping and receiving goods, and storing inventory. The ideal candidate can work independently, take initiative to assist with receiving tasks when not packing, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position on 1st shift, working in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

Note: This is not a large box warehouse shipping department.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, with possible overtime (Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 5:30 pm) and Friday 6:00 am - 11:00 am if needed.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Experience in packing and shipping
• Storing incoming finished goods into inventory
• Retrieving parts from inventory for sales orders and returning parts after shipment
• Performing accurate cycle counts
• Packaging and preparing parts for shipment, verifying accuracy and quality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• High School Diploma or GED (proof required upon hiring)
• Valid driver’s license (driving between facilities required)
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Good work ethic, self-starter with initiative, and reliable attendance

Position Demands:

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds daily
• Ability to bend, twist, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Extended hours during peak workloads or projects
