Job summary

ITW Automotive is seeking a shipping/receiving associate to coordinate packing, processing and timely shipments. You will collaborate with packing, outside processing, and customer service to meet pick sheet requirements.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, labeling, applying documents, maintaining FIFO, and keeping accurate records. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Able to lift approximately 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Basic computer skills, including Teams messaging, ability to use scanners, print labels from a computer, and basic screen lookup in manufacturing system such as QAD.
• Previous Industrial Hilo experience with emphasis on safety and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Packing and Outside Processing to ensure orders are shipped on time.
• Communicate with Customer Service, Quality, and other departments to meet customer requirements as outlined on pick sheet.
• Prepare incoming product for daily shipment and ship outgoing materials, products or supplies.
• Verify items to be shipped and check against picking lists, recording quantities, cartons, lot numbers, etc.
• Notify proper personnel of discrepancies and ensure proper labeling and paperwork.
• Strap and stretch wrap cartons to pallets, label with addresses, apply export documents when required.
• Prepare material certs and accompany packing lists; assist at Receiving and Outside Processing as needed.
• Maintain FIFO order, inventory of shipping supplies, and load trucks; utilize labeling system for traceability.
