Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Shipping Assistant to support the shipping department by helping ensure orders are prepared, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. The role collaborates with warehouse staff, carriers, and internal teams to maintain an organized shipping process.

Responsibilities include preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, and updating shipment data in company systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a warehouse/shipping/logistics environment.
• Experience preparing shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, shipping labels).
• Familiarity with carrier routing processes and coordinating pickups.
• Proficiency with Excel and order systems.
• Ability to prioritise multiple shipments and meet daily deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.
• Verify order accuracy before shipment.
• Assist with routing shipments and coordinating carriers.
• Enter and update shipping information in company systems.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipments.
• Track shipments and help resolve delivery or routing issues.
• Maintain records and filing for shipping documentation.
• Support the team with daily scheduling and shipment planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
