Job summary

Jobtailor in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Shipping Operator to join our team and execute safe, reliable shipping operations, including loading and unloading bulk materials and maintaining accuracy in documentation.

You will handle inbound/outbound materials, support safety audits, perform basic analytical testing, and ensure compliance with the shipping department operating manual while collaborating with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ work experience – industrial environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
• Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use a computer effectively with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams, or schematics.
• Safety focus in prior jobs.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
