- Execute safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the shipping department at the Sheboygan site.
- Safely load and ship bulk outbound material into tank trucks, totes and drums.
- Receive and transport to storage inbound material from both internal and external customers.
- Clean work area and make minor repairs or adjustments.
- Participate in safety training and audits.
- Understand and ensure safety standards are met.
- Perform analytical testing of in-process samples and finished products.
- Maintain certification to the shipping department operating manual.
Requirements
- 2 years’ work experience – industrial environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
- Troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use a computer effectively with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams, or schematics.
- Safety focus in prior jobs
- High School Diploma or GED required.
