Job summary

Jobtailor in Olive Branch, MS seeks a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a busy inbound distribution team. You will report directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and oversee 40–50 team members, driving process efficiency, accuracy, and safety across the operation.

Responsibilities include inbound activity oversight, PO reconciliation, stocking strategies, budgeting, KPI tracking, and staffing planning to meet changing demand.

Qualifications

• Expertise in supply chain, logistics, and high-volume, time-sensitive distribution.
• Demonstrated management and team-building experience.
• Experience with WMS/inventory systems, RF tech and conveyors.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to dynamic order flow fluctuations.
• HS diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree preferred; forklift/hazmat/OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound activity within the distribution center.
• Receive, analyze, and react to daily status reports.
• Review metrics to identify and improve performance.
• Ensure receiving processes are efficient and accurate.
• Lead and supervise departmental supervisors.
• Plan staffing and workflow according to market conditions.
• Maintain budgets and project future expenditures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA standards.
