Job summary

CSS Farms is a multi-state agricultural business home to a dedicated Shipping and Storage team. This role assists the Shipping and Storage Manager by maintaining accuracy of paperwork and operations for the Shipping and Receiving department in Dalhart, Texas.

The position emphasizes coordinating loads with Storage Managers, serving as the main contact for customers on Dalhart logistics, and ensuring timely shipment documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience coordinating the shipping of crops.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends during time-critical periods of the shipping season.
• Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written), including ability to train and work with operational teams on the farm.
• Experience using Windows based computer programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and a general aptitude with software systems.
• Knowledge of common warehouse operations and procedures.
• A strong work-ethic and the ability to be self-directed while still valuing and collecting team input.
• A valid US driver’s license or the ability to obtain one and pass vehicle insurance verification.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with the Storage Managers to coordinate shipping loads based on run schedule, quality, and logistical considerations.
• Be a point of contact for customers and shared services regarding Dalhart chip logistics.
• Process and prepare shipping and receiving documents.
• Complete daily data entry and reporting for shipment processing.
• Oversee all orders and ensure they are completed correctly and shipped in a timely fashion.
• Maintain order and housekeeping of the shipping offices.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
