Job summary

CSS Farms is seeking a Shipping and Receiving coordinator to assist the Shipping and Storage Manager, ensuring accurate paperwork and smooth operations for the Dalhart location. You will coordinate loads, process documents, and maintain orderly shipping offices while supporting safety policies.

Qualified candidates have at least one year coordinating crop shipping, strong communication skills, and the ability to train teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience coordinating the shipping of crops.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends during time-critical periods of the shipping season.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including ability to train and work with operational teams on the farm.
• Experience using Windows based computer programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and a general aptitude with software systems.
• Knowledge of common warehouse operations and procedures.
• A strong work-ethic and the ability to be self-directed while still valuing and collecting team input.
• A valid US driver's license or the ability to obtain one and pass vehicle insurance verification.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with the Storage Managers to coordinate shipping loads based on run schedule, quality, and logistical considerations.
• Be a point of contact for customers and shared services regarding Dalhart chip logistics.
• Process and prepare shipping and receiving documents.
• Complete daily data entry and reporting for shipment processing.
• Oversee all orders and ensure they are completed correctly and shipped in a timely fashion.
• Maintain order and housekeeping of the shipping offices.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
