Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to coordinate schedules across departments and Sales for efficient loading of trucks. You will ensure sanitation checks, complete shipping documents, and verify shipments with the team.

The role requires coordinating with USDA and FSQA to meet regulatory standards while leading a safety-first team. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of supervision in poultry or manufacturing, HACCP knowledge, and familiarity with Agristats financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Manager and/or Business.
• 5-7 years supervisory/management experience.
• Poultry experience preferred.
• Manufacturing management experience if no poultry experience.
• Experience with financial analysis in operations (Agristats).
• HACCP knowledge and experience.
• USDA sanitation/regulations knowledge.
• Available for nights/weekends/telephone coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate run schedules with all departments to achieve on-time loading and order fill rate.
• Ensure trucks are inspected for sanitation and temp control before loading; prepare bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate cooler inventory reports and timely loading; verify shipments with Sales and Transportation.
• Work with USDA, Maintenance, Accounting, and personnel; coordinate with USDA and Grading Service to meet customer/regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, train, and schedule staff to control costs and overtime; promote a culture of safety.

Education
