Job summary

Full Sail Media Design LLC is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. You will oversee daily activities, coordinate with production and customer service, manage freight vendors, and continuously improve processes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role serves as the final checkpoint before product departure, ensuring high-quality standards and accurate shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations and ensure timely deliveries.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with supervising employees.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities, with accountability.
• Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems; ability to optimize costs.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management principles.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, prioritize, and coordinate outgoing shipments to meet deadlines.
• Verify shipping documentation and freight paperwork for accuracy.
• Maintain organized warehouse and ensure OSHA-compliant environment.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Sales.
• Monitor freight costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate shipping personnel.
