Job summary

ALOM in Indianapolis seeks a proven operations leader to drive production excellence in a high-volume, automated environment. You will mentor teams, implement lean processes, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while controlling costs.

You will partner with Quality, Technology Engineering, and Account Management to optimize material flow, set performance KPIs, and lead digital transformation using WMS and ERP systems. Four years of relevant experience and a BS/BA are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in a high-volume automated and manual assembly manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO, QMS and CAPA systems.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
• Ability to write processes and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams of technical resources to achieve daily and long-term production goals.
• Direct targeted learning and development for production staff.
• Steer production activities to optimize costs and drive revenue.
• Manage production efficiencies and run rates.
• Analyze SLAs, forecasts, open orders, and staffing plans to exceed KPIs.
• Evaluate production line layouts and material flow for maximum efficiency.
• Establish lean management principles and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments including account management and document control.
